Gisela Dulko’s Magical Dream Day In Buenos Aires
Just before heading up north for the summer hardcourt season, Gisela Dulko had what she described as her “magical dream day” back home in Buenos Aires – her wedding to Fernando Gago.
Having been together for two and a half years, the pair had their civil wedding with family and close friends on Wednesday, July 27 and the official church ceremony and celebration on Friday, July 29. A slew of ATP and WTA stars attended the celebration, including her loyal friend and doubles partner Flavia Pennetta, David Nalbandian, Juan Mónaco and Mariano Zabaleta.
“It was like a magical dream day,” the 26-year-old Buenos Aires native declared. “It was a fantastic celebration and we had a really good time.”

The World Champions Dinner celebrated the achievements of the 2010 ITF World Champions.
ITF President Francesco Ricci Bitti presented the awards to the World Champions, with the distinctive trophies.
This year’s recipients are singles champions Rafael Nadal (ESP) and Caroline Wozniacki (DEN); doubles champions Bob and Mike Bryan (USA), and Gisela Dulko (ARG) and Flavia Pennetta (ITA); junior champions Juan Sebastian Gomez (COL) and Daria Gavrilova (RUS); and wheelchair champions Shingo Kunieda (JPN) and Esther Vergeer (NED), who will collect her trophy for a record 11th year.
Guy Forget received the Philippe Chatrier Award for his achievements in and support of Davis Cup and Fed Cup.
