Entrevista a Gisela Dulko antes del Cachantun Beauty Fashion frente a Sharapova
Gisela Dulko tiene 24 años, oriunda de Tigre, y que se ubica en el puesto 37 del ranking mundial.
Dulko volverá una vez más a Chile, esta vez el 2 de diciembre del presente año, para el Cachantun Beauty Fashion, donde enfrentará a Maria Sharapova, duelo a disputarse en el estadio del Parque Araucano.
El evento, organizado por One Fashion Manmagement, tiene como objetivo juntar belleza y talento en una cancha de tenis, la que seguramente estará repleta en sus aposentadurías el día del match.
Hay mucha expectativa por ver el match. ¿Qué se puede esperar del duelo tuyo ante Sharapova?
- Ojalá sea un gran espectáculo. Vamos a dar nuestro mejor tenis para que la gente pase una linda jornada.

Three first-round exits in her last four tournaments did not exactly give Gisela Dulko a jolt of confidence coming into the US Open.
In fact, Dulko, who had never surpassed the second round in five prior Flushing Meadows appearances, entered the event with limited expectations.
“Not at all. I didn’t feel good at all (coming in),” Dulko said. “I didn’t feel well in many matches during the summer, but you know I’ve been practicing hard to come here and play good tennis.”
The positive approach has paid off as Dulko dominated 30th-seeded Alona Bondarenko, 6-4, 6-0, in 67 minutes to reach the US Open third round for the first time.

Sharapova visitará Chile a fin de año para jugar un partido de exhibición con la argentina Gisela Dulko. Esta será la primera visita de la jugadora rusa a sudamerica, por lejos la tenista más popular del circuito femenino y el rostro publicitario más cotizado de la WTA.
Sharapova jugara tambien en Argentina y Brasil. Durante su visita en Chile, Sharapova realizará una clínica para niños, algún evento con los auspiciadores y encuentros con la prensa.

US Open Series: Gisela Dulko at the Pilot Pen Main Draw ceremony
Gisela Dulko was in good spirits as she worked the crowd at the Pilot Pen Main Draw ceremony on Friday.
Dulko smiled as she chose children to take a chip out of a bowl with a number on it further revealing the 2009 Pilot Pen women’s field. She is coming off a win over Maria Sharapova at Wimbledon and will play Russian Elena Vesnina in the first round.
“The people can expect great tennis this week,” Dulko said.
The first round begins on Sunday and continues into Monday with matches starting no later than 10 a.m. There will also be a night session on Monday that begins at 7.
